General Cleaning tips

You can use Dettol wipes, or a clean cloth and an antibacterial surface cleanser, to clean and disinfect kitchen surfaces. To help stop germs spreading, it's important to regularly clean and disinfect the surfaces in your home that your family often touch with their hands, such as the fridge door handle, cupboard handles, taps, and doorknobs.

You also need to clean and disinfect food preparation surfaces just before using them to prepare food, and immediately after contact with any raw food such as poultry, meat, fish, and eggs. After touching raw food, you should also clean and disinfect any surfaces that you have touched, including fridge door handles and taps. Clean your refrigerator regularly, too. Wipe up any spills promptly, then clean and disinfect any contaminated surfaces. Remember to clean and disinfect the fridge handle and door seals regularly.
