Design & Technology
Though UPS are usually stored in a place that does not give them enough attention and do not give justice to their good looks, the Exide 1450 VA Home UPS deserves to be placed to attract attention. It has a sleek grey ivory body. A strategically placed LCD panel prompts on state of the battery, its voltage and charge. It also highlights AC mains input voltage, display actual load in %, overload, short circuit, fuse blown and trip. The one feature that makes it unique is the electrolyte level sensor to showcase the low battery water level.
Visual Indicators
The LCD panel on the Exide 1450 VA Home UPS highlights the functionality of every element of the UPS. It shows the Mains on, UPS mode and Charging on. It also highlights battery functions such as the overload, low battery and fuse blown out. The most distinct feature of battery water level detector is brilliant to ensure battery longevity.
Battery Charging & Management
The Exide 1450 VA Home UPS comes with a battery water level indicator. This ensures timely water topping for longer battery life. The battery charging is constant and approximately 10% of the rated battery current in AH. The nominal battery voltage is 12 V.
