Synopsis
Twilight is a vampire romance novel that narrates the story of 17-year old Isabella Swan, popularly known as Bella. Bella is shy and has recently joined Forks High School in Forks, Washington. She finds herself getting attracted to Edward Cullen who seems to take an instant dislike to her. Bella has an intuition that there is something more to Edward that meets the eye. His unusual features and abnormal behaviour makes Bella more curious. Jacob is a family friend of Bella who tells her about tribal legends. Later, Bella discovers that Edward is not a human but a Vampire.
With passing days, both Bella and Edward fall deeply in love with each other. However, the arrival of a new Vampire coven in Forks creates trouble for the lovers.
Twilight was also adapted to a movie in the year 2008 which was a tremendous success globally.

Stephenie Meyer is an American fiction writer and film producer. She was born in Hartford, Connecticut and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. In 1997, she graduated with a BA in literature from the Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She got married to Christian at the age of 21 and has three sons.
She has written four books as a part of Twilight series. Apart from that, she has books like 'The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide', 'Life and Death: Twilight Re-imagined' and 'The Host' to her credit.
