Providing internet access via the latest Opera
Mini browser and powered by Android s clair platform, the Vodafone Webbox is a
sleek, black, 25 x 14 cm QWERTY keyboard with integrated navigation, power and connectivity
(EDGE DL and standard A/V input cables to connect to the television). With no
set-up required, the plug and play keyboard converts any standard domestic
television into an internet portal. The browser also supports Hindi Language
capability enabling the Indian consumers to surf Hindi Websites.
The Vodafone Webbox software, developed
exclusively, is built around a home screen allowing the customer to navigate
easily between the core services: Opera Mini internet access; SMS and email
messaging; Google search and media services including FM radio, Photo Gallery,
as well as video and music players. The user interface can be set to either
English or Hindi Language.
The Vodafone Webbox software has Documents to
Go Office Application, which enables reading of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Documents to Go also enables the user to view PDF documents.
