It is well known that a precise interpretation of the five books of Moses known as the Torah has been a prime quest of many scholars and religious people from all ages and from the main monotheistic religions of the world. However, we must recognize that the results have led to substantial differences, which in some cases ended in total rejection, persecutions and even killing in the name of God. This is unfortunate, as the biblical writers, although undoubtedly inspired by the Holy Spirit, used what was available to them-their language, culture and experiences-to write out the stories, poems and prophesies found in the collection of books we call the Bible; however, most of the interpreters have forgotten that if the writings were inspired by the Holy Spirit, the interpretation should also be inspired by the Holy Spirit. The main objective of this book is to recover the image of Jesus Christ through the Old Testament and fulfi ll the word of God as given in Luke 24:27: "And Jesus] beginning with Moses and all the prophets, ....explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself ." DR. ARMANDO SALAZAR graduated as a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma, U.S.A. in 1994. As a Chemical Engineer, Dr. Salazar has authored about 18 patents of invention in the area of oil and gas. Since his teenage years, Dr. Salazar started his quest for the truth about the source of life and the universe. Such quest led to the study of religious books from different cultures, while keeping a strong interest in mankind's scientifi c advances. As a firm believer of Jesus Christ as the suffering Messiah described by the prophet Isaiah, Dr. Salazar is now offering his view on the prophecies in the Old Testament that led to the coming of God's sacrificial lamb.
