About the Author
The much-loved Anant Pai was born in 1929 in Madras Presidency and was brought up by his grandfather. He studied chemistry, physics and chemical technology in Bombay, but his passion for comics and graphic novels soon changed his course of life. He started the Amar Chitra Katha and printed in his books Indian mythological stories, folk tales and biographies of famous personalities.
