Cashew trees are attractive evergreen trees with large leaves and pretty, pink flowers and are very easy to grow. Fresh cashew seeds germinate readily. You can grow them anywhere in the wet /dry tropics. Day temperatures for growing cashews should not drop below 10°C (50F), and cashew trees can handle temperatures above 40°C (105F) very well. As long as they have some water cashew trees grow very fast and easily. They are fairly drought resistant and grow well even on marginal soils where other fruit trees would fail. You can start your cashew tree from seed in pots or put them straight in the ground. Keep them moist but well drained as cashew trees don't like wet feet, excess cold or heavy clay soils.
