The motor structure of the Hertz speakers is designed to dissipate sound more effectively than conventional motor assemblies. To meet all installation needs, without giving up on Hertz quality and performance, the ECX 690.5 speaker system coaxes were designed with care to provide a linear frequency response and ensure high reliability. The REN Neodymium magnet and PEI dome tweeter provide compactness and energy at high frequencies. TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) surround and a pressed-paper cone provide wide excursion and resonance damping. Mylar coating ensures maximum magnetic permeability.
