Low cost Better mouse

what to write for a mouse... well it clicks at the expected places.. and does its job The price is good.. But a little bit bulky.. I was looking for a mouse for my basic needs as my previous mouse was worn out. I decided to buy this mouse as it was good looking and met my requirements. I was not at all disappointed by the mouse it works perfectly. Now the sad part. The mouse is supposed to be Windows 8 compatible. Also, it was a plug-and go, with no software needed to be installed. However, on plugging it to my desktop, it said the drivers were not installed and I am unable to use the mouse at all.
