The fifth verse of the Isha Upanishad is Tad-ejati tan-naijate tad-dure tad-antike, Tad-antarasya sarvasya tad-u sarvasyasya bahyatah. The fifth verse of the Upanishad means, It moves and moves not. Far away, It is near. It is Within all, it is yet outside. This looks controversial , it move and move not , it is near , it is within but yet outside, it needs to be understood that words which are controversial carry deep meaning, they are controversial because they are experiences , they are not statements, experiences are never the same, the position may be same, the situation may be same but the experience is different because two moments are never same. The fifth verse means really talks about God , not the personality but about the presence , the energy, the supreme which is called God , which is present in all and everyone , this is what is meant by that God is omni present , you simply need to find him, God cannot be searched by mantras, by prayers , by rituals, all these methods have failed , by this God cannot be found , these are methods to invite you into religion , into being humble to reach towards your inner softness, by such methods you can go towards the feel of God towards the magus known as Godliness not God , remember there is no God there is this magus, huge feeling called Godliness , this mantra is controversial it says , it is far away, still near but within, still outside, this mantra talks about God because God has become controversial because when God is present everywhere then there is no need to search him, still the so called religious people are offering methods to find God, this is creating the conflict, Godliness is left far behind , the race is now to search God to seek his favors, to make him hear your troubles , but in fact all such efforts have become meaningless , it has reduced the real crux of religion to something small, instead of bringing in the acceptance the methods, the rituals are taking you far away from acceptance.
