India is rich in plant diversity. During summer, some of the best tropical fruits are available in India. Most of these fruits are formed on a naturally growing wild, native Indian trees in cities, villages, and forest. Many of these fruits are cultivated in farms, orchards and home gardens. Growing Watermelon- Watermelon requires full sunlight, fertile well-drained, sandy soil with plenty of organic manures, a good source of irrigation. Fruits ripen 80-90 days after sowing. Maturity in watermelon can be judged from withering of plants tendril, change in fruits belly color or ground spot to yellow and thumping test. Musk Melon contains important nutrient for smooth, younger-looking skin. They love loamy, sandy soil with good drainage and pH level of around 6. Make planting beds around 5 - 7 feet wide and sow seeds on both sides of bed at 1.5 feet distance between two lines. Water it immediately and then water as per requirement.
