About the Author:- Dr. Karanam Viswa Bhushan, Associate professor of social work who has been working in Maharaja's Post graduate college (awarded' A' Grade by NACC) since two decades (affiliated to Andhra university) Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, India.He successfully completed the employment contract under United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for two years as Associate Professor in Ethiopian Civil Service University, Ethiopia. During this tenure a lot of research work was done in various social issues. He secured his Bachelor's, Master's (Post Graduation) and Doctoral degrees in social work from Andhra university and awarded first rank with gold medal at post graduation studies. His area of specialization is community development. He secured International certificate in community development and Adult education at Nijmegen University, Netherlands.He has participated in several National and International (Belgium, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany, Thailand , Malaysia and Canada) seminars, conferences and workshops and enriched with the knowledge of social work education. He has zeal of learning and great aptitude towards teaching and research. He has delivered guest lectures in several universities in Canada, Belgium and Germany.
