‘Mission MBA’ by the author Dr. Rajiv R. Thakur is his second book on MBA education after the overwhelming success of his first book ‘MBA Meri Manzil’ in Hindi language. About the Author
Dr. Rajiv R. Thakur is Professor at Indian Institute of Management, Jammu (IIM Jammu). In his previous assignments, he was Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida and Jaipur Campuses, Director, AKGIM, Ghaziabad and Professor at Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad. He was the member of the founding Core team of IMT Dubai. He started his academic career with GITAM University at Visakhapatnam. Before joining academics, he worked with the media industry for over 12 years in The Times of India, Delhi and The Statesman, Delhi.
Dr. Thakur has done his Ph.D. and Post-Graduation in Economics and MBA from IIT-Delhi. He is alumnus of Kirorimal College, Delhi University, Delhi. Dr. Thakur was awarded Junior Research Fellowship by UGC and has qualified the National Eligibility Test for Lectureship.
His teaching and research areas are Strategic Management and International Business.
He has been actively involved in research and publications and has published/presented research papers in international/national journals and conferences.
