He was Business Advisor to Duncan Goenka Group; Member, Board of Directors, American Studies Research Center, Hyderabad and Kribhco Shyam Fertilizer Company Limited and member, Social Science Faculty, University of Delhi; Academic Council of Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management-Research, New Delhi. ABOUT THE BOOK:- Modi vs Indira Gandhi, a factual narration, analyses of how the two became India's Prime Ministers, though they came from two different directions, had two different upbringings, personalities and followings, were differently trained for political management and become prime ministers differently. Modi was raised in a lower middle-class family, living in scarcity while Indira was brought up in a politically powerful, affluent and aristocratic family. Modi moved slowly to power from RSS pracharak to BJP's General Secretary, Gujarat's Chief Minister and ultimately Prime Minister. Indira was trained by her father and sharpened her political skills in Lal Bahadur Shastri's cabinet. Modi understood people and their problems by extensively traveling in India. He helped solving their difficulties coming to power. Indira became PM because being born in Nehru dynasty, though she never mixed and understood people and their problems. The book is interesting study of two giant Prime Ministers of India.
