Background: Published by Sony Computer Entertainment, MotorStorm: Apocalypse, is the fourth game in the series and the third designed for the PS3. Unlike previous editions, this game is all driven up with better story and is closely narrated from the perspective of three participants: Mash (The Rookie), Tyler (The Pro) and Big Dog (The Veteran). Each participant represents difficult levels in the game. Player gets to witness the unfolding of different parts over the course of the three day festival.Synopsis & Feautures: Witness the return of the most brutal off-road racing festival with MotorStorm: Apocalypse. This time the extreme MotorStorm festival is taken a step higher to a major metropolitan city which is destroyed by a gigantic earthquake. With MotorStorm racing madness this time the racers must even deal with the unpredictability of a crumbling urban environment. Unstable skyscrapers, fiery subway tunnels, twisting bridges and almost collapsing buildings fill the abandoned city which also provides the right platform for MotorStorm's brutal street racing for that thrilling experience. It’s a whole new collection of vehicles including supercars, muscle cars and superbikes where the player can even customise their collection. Players can also face down fellow Stormers as well as a city where destruction awaits with every turn. While the tremors and aftershocks continuously hit the city players are compelled to make or take quick decisions.USP: This edition also plays host to a new challenge with the introduction of people who try to interfere in the race. It is the Crazies and the Dusklite, the two factions housed by the City and whose sole aim is to fight for survival. It is the Crazies who are out to delay or disturb the progress of the racers. Loot broken buildings, break into fights on the streets, steal cars and try to slam racers off the road and even attack racers with firearms, the Crazies attempt it all. The Dusklite is a private military company trying to enforce order which also creates additional hazards for racers to overcome attacks such as a helicopter firing missiles onto the track.
