The book offers learning of alternative medicines having widespread use, acceptance and also the rules and regulations that ensures their best uses as well. The use of herbal medicinal products and supplements has increased tremendously over the past three decades with not less than 80% of people worldwide relying on them for some part of primary healthcare. It has become essential, therefore, to furnish the general public including healthcare professionals with adequate information to facilitate better understanding of the risks associated with the use of these products and to ensure that all medicines are safe and of suitable quality. As an author, it is my heartiest believe that the book will adjoin significant apprehension to future research pharmacists and alternative medical practitioners as most of the text portion is created from the recently published books, newsletters and articles of different journals.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Author Completed B.Pharm (2004) and M.Pharm (2006) from Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka. He has completed his MBA (2007) from East West University. He is now in faculty of Pharmacy, World University of Bangladesh as an Assistant Professor. Along with 8 years of teaching experience, he worked for reputed pharmaceutical companies of Bangladesh in strategic management for 5 years.
