About The Author:- Pulak Chandra Dev nath , M. A. (Education), M.Phil, has been working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, Government Kamalanagar College, Mizoram. He has teaching experience of more than nine years and published more than 25 research papers and articles in various books and journals. He has published his book named “Elementary Education in Assam and West Bengal-A Comparative Study”. He has also completed one UGC minor research project to his credit. He has been awarded UGC-IUC Associateship in Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla. He is also the life member of North East India Education Society, All India Association for Educational Research, The Learning Community, Indian Academy of Social Sciences, Indian Academy of Social Science and Health, Indian Academy of Applied Psychology, Indian History Congress etc. Prof. N.B. Biswas, M.A. (Double), M.Ed. and Ph.D (Education), is presently working as Professor in the Department of Education and is also Dean of A.M. School of Educational Sciences, Assam University, Silchar. He started his career at Arunachal University and has also served NEHU, Shillong for few years. He is a former research scholar of CASE, M.S. University, Baroda and was also an Associate Fellow of IIAS, Shimla. He has teaching experience of about 30 years and published more than 100 research papers in various national and international journals and has also edited some volumes to his credit as single author. He was also invited to present his paper at the London School of Education at London. As of now more than 25 students have completed Ph.D under his guidance and have a number of research projects already completed to his credit.
