About the Author
KIRAN REKHA BANERJI had a three-decade-long academic career where\nshe taught science and chemistry at the secondary, high secondary and\nundergraduate levels at several institutes in India and the Middle East. She\nhas also authored textbooks on science for both CBSE and ICSE curriculums.\nIn November 2015, she retired as principal of a prestigious secondary school\nin Gurugram to pursue full-time writing and editing. She believes in instilling\namong children a ‘scientific attitude’ and this belief is her inspiration for writing\na book series for young readers.\nNEERU VAJPAI has been involved in the field of education for more than\ntwenty years. She has been a primary teacher for fourteen years. She was the\ncoordinator for UKIERI (UK India Education Research Initiative) for two years\nand was sponsored by the British Council to visit affiliated schools in the UK in\n2009, to interact and imbibe cross-cultural primary teaching methodologies.\nOver the last five years, she has been instrumental in making English tutorials\nfor Jamaican and Philippine schools and also for Delhi schools up to grade 6.
