About the Author
New Delhi based writer Nutan Lakhanpal Pandit is a childbirth therapist who conducts pre-natal care and childbirth classes for couples who are expecting a child. She is a sociology graduate from Mumbai University and has a diploma in Journalism. She was moved to taking natural childbirth classes in the late 70's when she had a faith altering experience during a breathing exercise and realized that so called 'unconventional methods' are actually very apt for the Indian scenario. Nutan Pandit is a pioneer of 'natural childbirth' in India. She founded the Natural Childbirth Institute in India.
