This chopping board can be used in the kitchen to chop fruits and vegetables or other soft food. A variety of chopping boards are available on the Indian market. This chopping board on offer is a flat-grain chopping board with a natural finish. A flat-grain means that the wood used is cut along the vertical line of the tree and such material is used to manufacture the chopping board. Flat-grain boards are suitable for domestic use and will serve well if maintained appropriately. Please note that only food-grade materials have been used in the construction of this product. How to maintain your Relix Chopping Board: 1. First use: The first time you use the chopping board, ensure that you clean it under tap water first and then apply mildly concentrated soap (liquid soap only). Wash off the soap under running tap water while rubbing with sponge (do not use a metal brush/scrub or hard plastic bristled brushes/cleaning tools) and wipe off dampness with a clean cotton towel. Keep the board standing against your kitchen platform wall to completely air-dry. Inspect the board's surface for any foreign particles now and if none, the board is ready for regular use. 2. After each subsequent use thereafter, wash the board in the same manner as described above. Luke-warm water can also be used, but not boiling hot water or water at temperatures above 50 DegC. Fine Salt, Vinegar and Fresh Lime juice can be use to remove garlic, onion or meat stains (if any) and smells, ending with the same process as above and before the board is kept to dry.
