Ratings & Reviews Ricoh SP111 Single Function B/W Laserjet Printer

I bought Ricoh SP111 three weeks back. The package is great. I followed the instructions as given. I personally installed. The driver supplied with the printer is not compatible, so I downloaded from the ricoh website. After restarting the system, the printer is identified by the system. I started to take print in normal paper. It's impression is great compared to HP printer which I am using in my work space. In curiousity, I tried to take print as in demo video. I took print by tearing the paper, crushed and in non standard size, it works as normal. Now I believe that demo video is true. I am doing research and analysis. It needs more information to be documented. This printer suits my needs. I don't want to invest more money also.Tonerj Refills also available in online and offline. Pros. -Easy to install and use -prints in any kind of paper -toner cartridge is refillable and in cheaper rates -occupies less space -first print starts in less secs , faster than other laser printers Cons. -function wise no issues. -in first printing, noise arises, after that it is very smooth. It is very efficient in functions. If you want a printer for rough use, this is the one. O

This printer is good on all parameters, good print quality, refillable cartridge, great price etc. as said in other reviews. Better than HP laserjets and way better than Samsung, I've used those. I am giving it a 2 star only because in spite of being one of the latest printers it doesn't have drivers for Mac OS X! I didn't think about it before purchasing because I thought it must be the default. But I'm terribly upset not to find driver support for Mac OS X.
