It's a steal at this price.....works perfectly fine.....refilling is also not a problem as there is a refill slot provided on the cartridge......go for it for sure.

My previous printer was a color inkjet, and for its boasting of BEST SPECS and so on, the cartridges were ridiculously expensive, besides the yield per cartridge was really low to justify its high price. In short, I was quite fed up of not just the high cost of printing but also the frequent supplies buying. It seemed more than obvious that I would need a better and more cost effective printing solution, which convinced me beyond doubt to go in the direction of laser. After spending several days sifting endlessly through different e-portals, OEM sites, forums and what-nots, and consequently a literal 'search-burnout' I decided to just STFU and just order the cheapest laser printer available. That is when I came across this one, on snapdeal at a price almost 30% less than the other portals and FAR less than how much it was for on Ricoh India's own e-store. That is when the second round of anxiety began, because, to be honest I was quite wary of ordering this printer mainly and ONLY because of the low price. It did not seem likely that one could buy a functional laser printer from a reputed brand at such a throwaway price. Most reviews were positive, and in fact very positive and praiseful. The specs weren't top-end of course, but they were certainly as good as what I'd want a printer to have, considering my printing requirements entailed quick printing of black and white documents, sometimes about 20 of them in a go, and in all just about under a 100 per month on an average. All said, I did take the plunge eventually, probably out of a certain 'buyer-fatigue' but largely due to relying on very convincing customer reviews. The delivery was not very smooth and was delayed by 2 days, but I have gotten over it, owing to the joy that ensued after the package was delivered and the printer was installed. Installing the printer on my Windows 10 x64 PC was a bit challenging, considering the device drivers could not be found online, but once the CD-ROM was fired up, it was quite simple after that. I realised to this effect, that the printer model is after all about 9 odd years old. I have to add that the hardware part of installation was fairly simple and easy and required no referring to manuals. Linguists would be treated to a delightful collection of several languages in the accompanying safety guide and installation manual. Good times were yet to begin. I decided in favor of printing out the 'test page' from Ricoh's printer-manager software instead of the standard one with boring text in ancient arial fonts. The 100gsm A4 sheet came out smooth and crisp in about 40 seconds. It carried a elliptical pattern with alternating white and chequered sectors, and a SP111 on top right in a large bold font. BRILLIANT is only one word to describe the first print-out. Thereafter I printed out about 20 odd pages, mainly text, and carrying different fonts (a few had high quality rastered images too), ALL of which came out really good. I of course, was not expecting the images to come out HD-photo like, but on the default 600x600 resolution and no enhancements, the quality of what I saw CONVINCED me I have bought an excellent device, and therefore officially marked the beginning of the good times. Though merely a day would not suffice at all to reach a 'verdict', because other factors such as durability and importantly toner yield need to also be factored in, but for the money I have spent does not merit long-term worry. So what I feel is, that, this happens to be one of the rare instances, when an overtly finicky buyer like me was impressed quite quickly. I will sum it all up, and say that I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this printer for anyone looking to invest in inexpensive yet efficient solution to moderate-heavy home/office printing needs.

Seeing some negative reviews I was afraid to purchase the item. But the recent positive and more balanced reviews really helped me to purchase this item for my home. It is small, flat and compact.Both input tray and output are so designed that they can be folded back into printer' body.Installation is simple and easy with CD provided by Ricoh. Sound is little. You have settings to save toner. Installation was done by Wipro. It is really excellent service by wipro engineers. Ricoh had tie-up with wipro for service. The packing by seller is really excellent by seller and seller arranged immediate dlivery. Hats off to seller for such care and service in despatch. I got at a discounted price from Snap deal and thanks to Team Snap deal. Buyers have to give balanced views about item. We can not get all beast features and best quality for a lower price. Reviews will definitely help to purchase and not to purchase a item.
