Smitha Vishwanath
Smitha Vishwanath is a banker turned writer. Quitting a rewarding career in banking in the Middle-East, spanning two decades, she returned to India with her family in July 2018.
A postgraduate in Business Management, writing was something she did as a hobby until October 2018, when her articles and poems first got published. This marked the beginning of a new journey.
Having travelled widely and lived in India, Iran and the U.A.E since childhood, she understands change is the only constant in life. Gifted with a plethora of invaluable experiences that come from having lived and worked in a multi-cultural environment and a ‘Never say die,’ attitude, her writing is one of hope and courage.
When she is not writing, Smitha enjoys painting, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Vandana Bhasin
Vandana Bhasin is an ex-banker, based out of Gurgaon, pursuing her passion of writing.
A postgraduate in commerce and a Cost and Works Accountant (CWA), she has a corporate experience of more than a decade. Being a Certified Wellness and Emotional Intelligence Coach, she believes in making life more meaningful and rewarding by consciously choosing happiness and optimism over monotony and pessimism.
Vandana has written poems on themes varying from inspiration to women empowerment, from child abuse to leadership and from nature to contemporary issues. Her poems have been published in several national and international anthologies and online literary platforms.
Her writing has won her numerous accolades including Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee Award 2018 by Arpita Foundation and Women of Influence Award 2019 by Garnet and Gold.
