Software is not working on my PC with windows 7 and I am not getting what is the problem. HDD is compact, Fast and easy to use. Cable is not that small as was written in the previous reviews.

Have gone by the brand Segate. I have had good experience with HDD of segate brand. My last purchase of an Ext HDD was of Transcend which was not a good experience, the hdd kept asking to be formatted every time I wanted to use. Had the same problem even after it was repaired by the Trancend company.. So have decided to do no experiments and go by tried and trusted brands. SEGATE was my first choice and hopefully it will strengthen my belief in the product. I will defnitely update the product performace after using it for some time.

Before purchase, I was thinking that It would be bulky. Bus as I got it, it is very compact and easy to handle. Overall good product and as par its brand name. I feel, afer transfering 300 GB Data, that it is little bit slow as it eats my 10 to 12 hours to complete it.
