TOTALLY WORTH IT TRUST ME I GOT THIS PIECE YESTERDAY AND HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING TOTALLY AMAZING BASS QUALITY AND SOUND EXPERIENCE FOR MUSIC AND MOVIES ON MACBOOK PRO INITIALLY I USED ARTIS HEADPHONES NOT MUCH OF AUDIOPHILE I AM BUT STILL ITS 10X BETTER THAN LOCAL HEADPHONES I DONT ALWAYS COMPLETELY RELY ON BRAND BUT WITH SENNHEISER IT HAS BEEN A AMAZING EXPERIENCE JUST FRISKY WITH THE BUILT QUALITY WITH THE PLASTIC BUT THAN ALSO IT MAKES HEADPHONES SUPER LIGHT AS COMPARED TO OTHERS JUST GO FOR IT THESE ARE THE MOST REFINED HEADPHONES I HAVE USED EVER

Superb pair of cans. It's a steal at 3269. The only con is the poor cable quality. It's an expensive headphone yet the cable is so thin that it might just get torn off from the base since it's not detachable. The headphones are meant for home use in PC and Laptop. A proper sound card with headphone amps unleashes the true fury of this beast. The bass is deep and punchy but the bass doesn't muffle out the mids and highs. The soundstage may not be as good as the HD 439 but it's still good enough. If Sennheiser gave a better quality cable, I would have given it a 5/5. Overall, I keep my headphones very carefully at home so it's not a big issue thus I'm very much satisfied by the sound quality which performs well in any sort of music, movies and games.
