Ratings & Reviews SIGMA 85 mm 1.4 EX DG HSM FOR CANON

I got a good price from Snapdeal from Shetala Cameras (lower than US price!) and I grabbed it. The lens is usable at f 1.4 although there is plenty of out-of-focus purple fringing and vignetting. Focus is tricky, especially at low light indoors. I found the focus hunting on my Canon 5D-MK2 (the notorious Sigma jack-hammer AF issue), but only at low light conditions. For normal subjects and outdoors the focus was correct. Focus is in general tough with wide apertures, and this lens is no exception. On APS-C body (Canon 40D) the focus speed and performance was a lot better. The packet was brand new and sealed, they also gave an extra Canon bag, plus all the hood and lens bag etc with 2 years warranty. Good deal!

I would recommend this product to all the portrait photographers. Must have lens and the best cost ever if you compare with any other site and I grabbed it on a good deal with a great discount coupon too. Snap deal has been a wonderful site as ever.
