Mauryan Cast Copper, Vidarbha region, (c. 3rd-2nd c BC), Karshapana, Obv: Hollow cross, Rev: Three arched hill, 9.60 Gms, 22.76 mm, A bold Copper Coin cast by the ministers of Ashoka in Vidarbha area of Pavani and Bhandara. These coins are published in the Numismatic Digest by Dr C S Gupta. There is a large stupa at Pavani where an Ashokan edict and such coins have been discovered,About Extremely Fine, Rare.
