I love it... :)Jun 19, 2013Got my silver Sony HDD. Love the style of it.
Its nicely built, with its aluminum body.
Gives a sturdy feel.
It also comes softwares such as password protector, data transfer accelerator, backup...
these are quite useful.
These softwares if deleted can be easily downloaded from the sony website. \m/DjR
I have purchased this product. But I'm not satisfied because the connecting port is not working. When I tried to use it the connection breaks down again and again. So, it's became worse...

This is a Desktop-style drives, with 3.5-inch mechanisms inside, require a power adapter. The external drives I look at have at least a USB port, a good thing since even netbooks and ultralight notebooks have at least one USB 2.0 port with its theoretical 480Mbps throughput. Less common, but ostensibly speedier, is the FireWire port, in both 400Mbps and 800Mbps formats. Now technically its superior product compared to other makes. The trust is there on Sony and time will prove that the trust is worth.

1. The connecting cable is very small in length.
2. The cable itself it faulty. Just a small touch to it or if you move the cable, the HDD gets disconnected with a message "You need to format the the disk".
