Synopsis
The diary tells us how life was for the young girl, Anne Frank, when the sudden onset of the Second World War and Nazi occupation of the Netherlands changed her life forever. The girl had to go for hiding with her family for two long years. The diary accounts for the juxtaposing life that Anne Frank had before and during her years in exile. How she missed her friends, her school and her free life. Bombs thundered all around and every now and then, their house was raided by the Nazi military. Their survival was an event of uncertainty.
The writing of the young girl was so touching and was full of such emotions that the diary when recovered was admired throughout the world. It was so influencing that it has been even adapted by many schools in India for their Class 10th syllabus.
