About the Author
Joseph Rudyard Kipling was an English journalist, short-story writer, poet, and novelist. Kipling was born in Bombay, and educated in England at the United Services College, Westward Ho, Bideford.
Besides the now enormously popular Jungle Book, he wrote a number of other works including, The Second Jungle Book ,The Seven Seas, Captains Courageous, Just So Stories (1902), Trafficks and Discoveries ,Puck of Pook's Hill , Actions and Reactions , Debits and Credits, , and many more. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature, making him the first English-language writer to receive the prize.
