ABOUT THE AUTHOR:- Born in 1948, Prof. (Dr.) Jai Paul Dudeja holds a brilliant academic record throughout his career. With a Master's degree from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani and a Ph.D. degree from IIT Delhi, he has more than 45 years of experience of teaching, research and administration in reputed organizations, academic institutions, and laboratories. Dr. Dudeja superannuated in 2008 as a Senior Scientist from the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Govt. of India. Dr. Dudeja has authored about 80 research papers and co-authored/edited several monographs and conference proceedings. He is the Editor-in-Chief of a reputed international journal, and also on the editorial board of several international journals. Before the present book, Dr. Dudeja has authored three books on spirituality titled: (i) Gayatri Mantra: A GPS to Enlightenment , (ii) Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra : An Invincible Armour for Conquering Death , and (iii) Ajapa Japa Sohum-Humsa Mantra: An Eternal Mantra for Inner Consciousness . In 2008, Dr. Dudeja got the honour of getting his name entered as the World's who's who. Since August 2012, he has been working as a Director at Amity University Haryana, Gurugram, India.

ABOUT THE BOOK:- The third eye is the gate that opens to the space of higher consciousness and to the inner worlds. It is also the main organ through which the spiritual energy can be awakened and regulated. Further, this book stepwise explains various techniques for opening one's third eye. The last chapter of this book lists many benefits accrued to those seekers whose third eye is either fully opened or in the process of awakening. All these aspects are comprehensively covered in the eighteen chapters, supported by 85 figures in this book. Approximately 35 number of original Sanskrit mantras (hymns), written in Devanagri as well as Roman scripts along with their meanings (in English) have been included in this book in order to give authenticity and scholasticism to this book.
