The book is about the ‘untouchables’ of India - those who are literate and well established and highly positioned in society and are, on the pretext of the quota system allied with temptation for grabbing wealth, power and position, being made untouchables. From generation to generation, their children continue to remain as ‘untouchables’ even if they are posted as doctors, engineers, IAS or IPS officers. They carry a tag of ‘Indian Untouchables’ who are nevertheless socially and economically privileged.
