Synopsis

The book challenged the strict Victorian ideals of the time and was subject to immense controversy due to the elaborate depiction of mental and physical cruelty.

Emily Bronte is a British novelist and poet. She is best known for her only work, Wuthering Heights. She died at an early age of thirty but, gained contemporary popularity as her book is considered a classic in English literature.
