Developed by Yuke's & Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports, WWE 2K14 is a professional wrestling video game for all WWE fans. This is the sequel of WWE 13 and the first in the WWE 2K series
Synopsis & Feautures:
WWE 2K14 has many updated gameplay features which includes the navigation system, allowing for more fluid walking, running and dragging motions. Characters are even faster in this game and before running it even motions with a start-up animation, to prevent players from spamming running attacks. It also comes with new features such as adjusting wristbands or motioning for opponents to get up. Players will have fun using the quicker and harder to reverse striking attacks. In WWE 2K14, for quicker matches and to avoid continuous reversal stalemates, reversals results in offensive attacks and the catapult finishers can also be used offensively. Notice that some characters can even launch an opponent into the air for a catch finisher. Brilliant moment which allows for certain finishers to be done on two opponents and players to interact with the arena environment has been added. To add more drama in the match, the near fall system has also been improved, with more two counts. To recreate nearly three decades of WWE history, including more than 45 matches, classic WWE footage and many legendary characters - The 30 Years of WrestleMania, a new single player mode has been featured. This mode comes with a distinct roster feature for wrestlers and alternate gimmicks, who wrestled at WrestleMania.
USP:
The matches in WWE 2K14 come with primary objectives, which require players to beat the game and the bonus historical objectives results in recreated WrestleMania magic. Players are also required to follow a guided sequence of inputs, rather than freely control the character. Player can compete through storylines of various lengths in 45 primary matches, by switching predetermined characters as they are completed. In early Wrestlemania - Hulkamania Runs Wild which focuses on Hulk Hogan while - The New Generation showcases the rise of Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels in the mid 90’s.
