Introduction
Saw blades are made up of tough steel and have a hardened, toothed edge which forms the cutting side of the tool. Saw blades can be used to cut any material whether by hand or power tools that employ saw toothed cutting blades. They remove material from the edge of the hole that they make and what is left inside the cylinder falls off thus, creating a hole. Hole saws are mainly used with drilling machines and even though their cutting action is sawing, they are more useful for drilling purposes. Circular saw blades are used with circular saws and operate at very high speeds of a few thousand RPMs. They are used to cut everything from metal, to wood and stone. The blades are exceptionally tough and are designed to withstand high cutting temperatures.
